Salon Kitty

The fabled whorehouse in Charlottenburg, Berlin where the SD made recordings of foreign and domestic diplomats and officers to determine their true alliance. In July 1942, the building was demolished during a British air attack and the brothel had to be relocated. The model has 5 stackable floors, just like our other high building: Hotel Adlon.

We added two original photographs from that time. These were the basis for this reconstruction. The original building had an enclosed backyard. We kept to the facade and choose to made the back look like any apartment building.
